I'm a marathon & ultramarathon runner from Hamburg / Germany. Started running in 1986, marathon in 1987. Did my 1000th marathon/ultra on August 14th 2005. Loved to run and travel together with my wife Barbara Szlachetka from Poland who died of colon cancer on November 24th 2005.
